That One Day

Growing up in California was a blessing. You can catch some freshies in the morning, lunch in wine country and shoot the curls as the sun goes down, all on the same day. My favorite view in the whole state has to be those hills where the grass rolls in the wind and lone oak trees stand for centuries, observing patiently as the world passes by.

ABOUT THE PAINTING: The buyer used to live in The Bay Area but recently moved to Tennessee. He still makes trips back here every once in a while and visits Philz when he’s in town. When he saw this painting he knew he wanted to bring a little bit of California back with him to Tennessee.
